  • Description
    Siriushair® and GHD® original replacement ceramic heater elements for repairing GHD Gold Max S7N421.
    • SIRIUSHAIR® compatible heater elements are direct replacements with identical wire lengths and connections for ease of fitment, these DO NOT have a thermal fuse attached, you need to use your original or purchase a replacement fuse for it to operate.
    • GHD® used ceramic heater elements are removed from working appliances, tested, and security marked but will have signs of thermal paste remaining.
    • Compatible with all colours and versions of GHD Gold Max S7N421 hair straighteners (For identification of your model version please look at the label on the non-switch inside arm of the hair straighteners).
    • This is ONLY the heater, you need to attach your thermal fuse for it to operate.

    PLEASE ensure you have checked the Q4 Mosfet before fitting a heater element, if the Mosfet has failed the replacement heater will also fail, either causing a short in the thermal fuse wire or it will crack in half.

    Unfortunately the damage caused is not repairable or the heater refundable so check or replace the Q4 mosfet before fitting.

    Repair Order:

    Do not apply power.
    • Check both heater elements with a multimeter for continuity across all four wires, both inner wires are the heater/thermistor and both outer wires are the attached thermal fuse.
    • Even if you have continuity pull gently on all four wires as a short will show by a detached wire, replace heater.
    • If you check the metal pads on the ceramic heaters to ensure no electrical burn which if present will cause a thermal fuse failure, remove with a diamond file or replace with a new heater.
    • If you have a cracked heater then you MUST replace the Q4 mosfet.
    • Ensure wires from heaters are all pressed firmly into the PCB connectors.
    • If after powering on you get the red light then check wires from heaters are connected to the PCB correctly.
