GHD Original Used Thermal Fuses And New Siriushair Compatible
- Original used GHD fuses have been removed from fully working donor units, tested and fully operational, however they will have signs of thermal paste and use due to this. Original fuses are direct replacements and do not need any adjustments to the plastic backing plates to fit.
- New Siriushair manufactured thermal fuses are direct replacements with identical wire lengths and connectors however on some early versions of this model the plastic backing plate fuse enclosure needs adjusting with a craft knife to fit, this adjustment does not affect the operation of the GHD.
- A thermal fuse is a safety device which is fitted to prevent a hair straightener overheating and possibly causing a fire due to a component failure, if changed it is advised to leave for 30 mins to ensure the hair straightener operates correctly and has no other faults.
