GHD Thermal Fuse – Replacement Part
The thermal fuse is the most common component to fail in GHD hair straighteners.
Due to constant heating and cooling cycles, thermal fuses naturally wear out over time and eventually stop functioning.
Common Causes of Failure
Thermal fuse failure can occur due to:
- Normal wear from temperature fluctuations
- Faulty thermistor heaters
- Electrical stress or overheating
If you are replacing a thermistor heater, we strongly recommend replacing the thermal fuse at the same time to ensure a reliable repair.

- Removing a small amount of plastic for proper fitment
